As its a little bit of a project sections will be updated and changed when theres some free time with content and sections added as and when. We would love to hear any suggestions or recommendations you may have on places to fish, sections of the website, bait, rigs etc. Tight lines all!
Catch reports
We are always looking for some new places to fish, feel free to leave your reviews, once we have given them the once over will post them for the wider community.
I will try and get the latest results up as soon as they become available (Generally a few hours after the comp has ended)

Ground types

Rock marks
When attempting rock marks its always best to travel with as little gear as possible, some of these locations can be quite hard to get to and take a little times to fully negotiate, Plus if your anything like me there will be things in your fishing kit you never use...

Beach marks
The beach tends to be quite an easy spot to get to, there's certainly a few things to watch out for especially if the tide is on its way in. Having all you kit in a bag or box helps if you need to follow the tide in or move back on an incoming tide.

Mixed ground
Normally a good shot with multiple species about, if you are fishing the rocks make sure you keep an eye on the incoming tide as water can fill the valleys and surround you. Well worth looking around for fresh bait if the water is out.

Pier's, jetty and harbour fishing
Many people's preferred spots, normally you dont have to worry about the incoming tide becoming an issue, the water tends to be deep enough on many to fish the tide up or down and casting distance may not make a difference. A lot of these fishing marks are open to the public and are quite easy to access's. As with any mark make sure you check any laws or warning signs before setting up. Read up on some of the local marks below.

UK minimum catch size
Many shore anglers already have there own minimum size for keeping fish which tend to be vastly over the guide sizes, this is due to preserving the fish stocks and the realization of how much meat actually comes off a standard fish of minimum catch size. Find out more by clicking the link below
